We’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of Assembly Label’s 27th store, located in Melbourne’s beautiful Albert Park. Since the brand’s first store opening in 2015, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with them in creating boutiques across Australia and New Zealand — from custom timber joinery and fixtures to full store design and bespoke furniture pieces.

Over the past 10 years, it’s been an ever-evolving journey — one grounded in a shared appreciation for Australian craftsmanship, design, and lasting partnerships.

The new Albert Park store is a particularly special milestone. Designed in collaboration with Assembly Label and We Are Tribe, the concept was inspired by the idea of “home” — a space that feels warm, welcoming, and like a slow exhale. Unlike traditional retail environments, this boutique is envisioned as a destination where fashion and lifestyle harmoniously merge.

While we typically contribute joinery and fixtures for Assembly Stores, this project invited us in a more personal way. The store features a curated selection of our signature furniture pieces — including The Murbah Modular, The Tumby Table, The Slow Chair, The Um Chair and footstool, and Woodford Stool — all working together to create a textural feast that celebrates quality and most importantly, feels like home.

Adding to the rich materiality of the space are handcrafted rugs from Halcyon Lake, refined lighting design by Euroluce, and artworks by Pia Isabel and Amber Wallis. Every detail speaks to the value of thoughtful design and local artistry.
